Steps: 1. Provide students with a rubric to guide poster design. 2. Group students and assign each group member a different color marker so that each students’ contribution is evident. 3. Have students work together to create a poster based on recent learning. | Differentiation: • Strategically pair students for peer support. • Allow students to illustrate their contributions. Variations: • Use Whip Around Share to help students generate ideas before creating the poster. • Require students to include a key quote and an illustration (symbol or drawing) from the reading. • Do a Carousel/Gallery Walk of the completed posters. Students may provide feedback to their peers using the rubric. • Use in math to have students take turns completing steps of a problem. • Use in writing as students respond to a prompt.
