Students read and answer questions from cards. Each card has an answer and poses a new question to be answered.
Steps: 1. Give each student a card with a picture, statement, question, math problem, vocabulary word, etc. Each card has an answer and a new question. 2. To begin, choose a student to read his or her card. 3. Instruct students to listen for the answer to that card. The student who has the answer then reads his or her card entirely. Continue until the last card is read which loops back to the first student and completes the game. | Differentiation: • Strategically pair students for peer support. • Give students more than one card as a challenge. Variations: • Use to solve equations, review vocabulary words or match a picture and a caption. • Consider using a stopwatch to time the class game. Record the time on the board so that students try to beat the best time. • Have students create their own I Have/Who Has game to do with the class. |
